THABLE – Dual Granular Engine for Deep Sound Exploration

THABLE is the next step after THALOOP. While THALOOP was a loop-based sampler with a built-in granular reverb, THABLE is a synth designed entirely around a dual granular engine.

Instead of a loop player, it lets users load their own samples and process them through two independent granular layers:

• One inside the reverb, for atmospheric and evolving textures.
• One inside the sample player, with full control over grains, pitch, and playback dynamics.

A modulation system for pitch and gain, plus effects like delay, phaser, and ring modulation, add even more depth.

THABLE builds on THALOOP’s foundation but takes a more experimental approach, focusing on sound transformation and layering.

Beta access on macOS. THABLE is in open beta and not notarised by Apple yet — notarisation arrives with the stable release. Until then macOS keeps the quarantine flag it puts on every downloaded file, so there is one short step the first time you install.

Copy the plugin into your Components folder:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

then run this once in Terminal to clear that flag:

sudo xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/THABLE.component

That is all: macOS then loads it like any other plugin, and Windows needs no setup at all. If your DAW still does not list it, write to hi.23dsp@gmail.com with your macOS version and DAW — beta reports get priority.
